Description: During this panel discussion about COVID-19 and it's impact in the Medical, Clinical and Biological Engineering field, the various presenters will share their prevention strategies and risk assessments based on best practices. The medical device development issues and challenges in times like this. What type of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is recommended, in what circumstances, hygiene practices, mitigation when staff contracts the virus, and social distancing/interaction of professionals who work in the clinical areas will be discussed. Sources of trusted information will be listed, as well as recommendations such as recommendations regarding filtering sensationalist statements in social media.

The webinar is free for the CMBES members and non-members to attend but pre-registration is required. There is a limit of 100 attendees but a recording of the webinar will be available later in the CMBES Store.
